- Students may only register for one course (four credits) for Sessions I-A, I-B, II-C or II-D
- To request consideration for course loads exceeding these maximums, a visiting undergraduate student must:
- Forward a statement to summer@umd.edu detailing your request, including desired courses and sections. This statement must also include an indication that you are aware of the associated workload and understand that you are academically and financially responsible for this course overload. The University will not consider granting exceptions to academic and refund policy resulting from an inability to manage this workload.
- Have your home institutions’ academic advisor forward a statement to summer@umd.edu stating that you are in good academic standing and should be allowed to register for above the credit limit.
- Registration will not be permitted until both statements are received.
